Our transparency commitment

As a faith-rooted California nonprofit corporation with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, we believe that public trust is earned, not assumed. Donors, partners, and the families we serve deserve to know exactly how the organization operates, how it is funded, and how every dollar is spent.

We commit to:

Annual Form 990 filing

The IRS Form 990 is the primary public disclosure for 501(c)(3) organizations. Once filed, ours will be available on this page and through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search.

Independent governance

An independent board oversees mission integrity, financial stewardship, and conflict-of-interest review. Approval decisions for down payment assistance are made independently of capital partners.

Audited financials

Once we reach the appropriate scale, we will commission annual independent audits of our financial statements and publish the results here.

Segregated capital

Capital provided by partners is held in segregated, auditable accounts dedicated to down payment assistance, not commingled with general operations.

Conflict of interest policy

Board members and staff are required to disclose conflicts and recuse themselves from related decisions, per our written Conflict of Interest Policy.

Donor protections

We follow the Donor Bill of Rights. We do not sell donor information. Gifts are acknowledged in writing for tax purposes within 30 days of receipt.
